• basically this is google translate
• google translate is a a method that
• google uses to translate any language
• for example i can translate from english
• into let's say spanish let's say like i
• want to translate a document or
• translate some form of an audio into
• into another language so all i just
• simply do is i just come here and i make
• sure that it's on english that's the
• language i'm going to be speaking and
• then i can just hit on the microphone
• there
• and as you can see as i'm speaking this
• out it's actually capturing everything
• that i'm saying and then it's
• automatically translating it into
• spanish on the right side of the
• page so you're actually going to be
• making money from this there are people
• around the world let me just stop this
• there are people around the world who
• need their languages translated maybe
• from english to russian to spanish to
• french or from french into english so
• what you're going to be doing is that
• you're going to be helping those people
• by you actually translating this for
• them but let me also just quickly
• mention here that this is not a hundred
• percent accurate google translate is not
• necessarily 100 accurate in fact it's
• about 90 to 90
• 92 93 accurate meaning that there may be
• some mistakes but people are still
• willing to pay for that translation if
• you know how to find them
• now as you can see here i was speaking
• and then it was typing but in most cases
• what you'll be doing is that you'll be
• given a document that they'll ask you to
• translate so you're just going to simply
• copy whatever is in that document and
• you're going to paste the the wording in
• here and then it's going to
• automatically translate to another
• language so if i want to translate to a
• different language i just simply click
• there on the arrow and then i choose
• whatever language i want it to translate
• it to but now in terms of past actually
• making money from this the way that
• you're going to be making money is that
• you're going to be finding freelance
• websites where you can sign up as a
• freelancer and offer yourself as a
• translator so what you just want to do
• again is just go to google and then just
• type and say freelance
• websites
• like that and then it's gonna show you
• so many freelance websites there are
• hundreds there are thousands of them out
• there on this channel i usually talk uh
• about freelancing a lot and one of the
• channels one of the platforms i always
• talk about is fiverr the other one is
• upwork i also talk about people per hour
• but let me just open those and then show
• you what this it actually um looks like
• so as you can see i've opened these two
• here there's upwork and then there's
• fiverr.com freelance websites are
• basically websites where freelancers or
• someone who has got a specific skill
• just signs up there and they can offer
• their skill to anyone around the world
• you're not limited to who you're working
• with you're not limited to how many
• people you can work with it's just about
• your skill and people actually wanting
• to pay you for that skill so you can
• charge whatever amount of money you want
• as long as people are actually willing
• to pay for it so when i come here to
• upwork and i just type in there and i
• say
• translation
• right
• and i just quickly searched there you'll
• find that there are some people who have
• already registered as
• translation experts or translators right
• and so
• as you can see here there's this lady
• here oksana she has made three thousand
• dollars from this and she's charging 18
• um
• per hour for translation right if i go
• down again here's another person who's
• charging 10 dollars per hour and then
• she has earned about five thousand
• dollars from just doing translation
• uh here's another one he's just spent
• zero probably someone who's new on the
• platform just the same way that you
• probably knew here's someone who has
• earned two thousand dollars he's someone
• who has earned fifty thousand dollars
• just by simply doing translation right
• then if i come here to fiverr also and
• then i say trans
• lay
• translation like that
• again if i was then gonna ask me what
• language do you want to translate to and
• that's what you're going to be doing you
• can choose as many languages as you want
• you can maybe say french english to
• french
• english to spanish english to as many
• languages as you want you just put that
• on your portfolio but then if i just
• show you here
• here's someone who is charging ten
• dollars right and then they have done 43
• jobs as you can see and then they've got
• a five-star rating here's another one
• who has done one thousand plus jobs he's
• charging ten dollars there's another
• one's judge who's done three hundred and
• seven jobs here's another one 67 62 dobs
• is charging five dollars and like maybe
• let's look at this one who's charging
• five dollars you may think five dollars
• is not a lot of money but let me show
• you how this actually works if you just
• click on on any one of these people she
• has done 62 jobs you notice that there
• are three different levels or the two
• three different plans there's a basic
• there is a standard and then there's a
• premium she says i will translate up to
• 150 words within 24 hours i will charge
• five dollars for 100 additional words so
• in other words she's going to do
• um i will charge five dollars extra i
• think in other words okay she's just
• going to charge 154 words
• most people who ask you to do something
• probably have got more than 150 words
• they probably put a thousand so you're
• going to be charging them five dollars
• per number of 150 words so if someone
• says 1000 words obviously this amount is
• going to increase if i if i move to
• standard here as you can see she's
• charging 50 for 1 200 words someone else
• might have more words 2 500 words she's
• charging 75 so that's how you're going
• to be making most of your money the more
• the words you're going to be translating
• are the more money that you're going to
• be earning the same thing works on all
• these different platforms like i showed
• you earlier we just need to simply just
• come here and say uh to a google search
• and actually uh search for the different
• freelance websites that are available
• and it will be a good idea for you to
• join as many of these because it will
• give you a higher rate of maybe getting
• people to work with
• uh when you sign up the first days
• obviously because people don't know you
• and you're new to the platform i showed
• you some people here on on
• upwork some people had zero jobs done
• because they are new the more jobs you
• get the more people will trust you and
• want to hire you so try and maybe spread
• your portfolio over different platforms
• to increase your chance of actually
• getting someone and then also there are
• other ways of actually maybe optimizing
• or setting up your account so that
• people it attracts people faster and
• what i'm going to do for you is that i'm
• going to release another video in the

• showing you how to actually register on
• fiverr and set up your account and also
• the same thing for um upward so that you
• have a higher rate of success but just
• for now what you want to do is that you
• want to create as many portfolios as you
• can to increase the chances of you
• getting a client as soon as possible
• another thing that you may also want to
• do that you may want to reduce your
• prices you notice some people are
• charging five dollars there some people
• are charging 25 from the basic package
• when you're starting out you may want to
• reduce your prices maybe make them as
• low as five dollars or ten dollars that
• way it's going to attract people to want
• to work with you faster
• because what your prices are cheaper
• than everyone else another question that
• might come to mind is but marshall why
• would people want to pay me to translate
• for them instead of them just going to
• google translate and then translating
• for themselves it's the same reason why
• jeff bezos is a billionaire and you are
• not
• well probably you're not there's
• something that he knows that we don't
• know or there's something that those
• rich people those millionaires those
• billionaires know that the rest of the
• people don't know and because they have
• that knowledge that's what qualifies
• them to have all that money so there are
• many people out there who if they knew
• about google translate they would use it
• but they don't know about it so you're
• going to be using that your advantage in
• that they don't know about google
• translate so you're just going to be
• using google translate and actually just
• doing this and making money for yourself
